The two apartments used to be one big farmhouse but when we renovated we split them into two apartments.
The name of place, “Poggetto Pellegrini”, means small hill of the Pellegrini family.
We have carried out the renovation of the apartments preserving the original features, providing them with every comfort and personally taking care of the furniture down to the smallest detail.
The farm is surrounded by typical terraced land of this area where there are olive trees and fruit trees.
From the top of the little hill where is located the pool, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of 360 ° and identify other medieval villages dotted around the surrounding hills.

Aramo is located in the heart of Valleriana also known as "Svizzera Pesciatina".In the Svizzera Pesciatina there are ten small town called “castella” which means castle.
They are of medieval origin and form a sort of circle. The other castles are: Vellano, Sorana, Pietrabuona, Medicina, Fibbialla, San Quirico, Castelvecchio,Stiappa and Pontito.

Aramo is situated on a hill at 380 meters hight. As other medieval villages used to be built on the top of hill because it was better for the sun and easier to protect it. It is surrounded by chestnut trees, olive groves and a few vineyards.

The houses are built in the characteristic way that distinguishes the ancient and medieval villages.
Are still visible traces of the ancient city walls and some underground tunnels once used by the inhabitants to leave the village in case of siege. Of particular interest is the church of San Frediano, which is part of the great and noble church of Castelvecchio di Valleriana.
